I just moved out of my flat in London and came across many of the notebooks filled of scribbles that have accompanied me ever since I started carrying a purse. What to do with them? I’ve kept them all this years, and surely they keep many memories and perhaps even a few secrets - but in a clear out, what is not often used...must go.
I decided to hold on to some of them but made myself commit to actually getting some of their content on to my blog, and so begins the “remembrance series”...here we go, get ready for some random thoughts throughout!

23rd & 7th. Old-crazy-looking lady. Seemed about to say something. I take my earplug out: “Yes?”. Eyes like plates: “You are lovely.” -Pause- “And cool.”
34th & 8th. Afro-american old man: “How tall are you?”. Me: “I’m sorry?”. Him: “H-o-w t-a-l-l a-r-e y-o-u?”. Me: “Mmmm...170 centimeters I guess?”. Him: “No. No. You are about 5’8. You are wearing flats. I like tall girls. If you wore stilettos you’d be tall. But it’s cool. You’re wearing flats.”

"A day in NYC"
I’m not feeling too well since last night, so I stay in bed till past one. I slowly get up, put some clothes on and prepare to go to lunch. I don’t take a shower: I have yoga later and plan to take a shower after the class (I’m not just lazy but actually thinking I might save some water). So I go out and random things happen; I have good food, but my stomach doesn’t seem too happy about the quantity. Too much for the night we just had last night, I get it. On my way home I see a homeless man sitting in a corner, right on 23rd street and 7th avenue Uptown Metro Station. 1, 2, 3 lines I think. Anyways, as I take a closer look I notice he’s distracted and as I look a bit lower I notice he has his dark purple d...ck out and is giving himself a treat. “WHAT?!” - I geel disgusted and
